Man dies after cop brother shoots him
Johannesburg - A Limpopo man has died after he was shot at the weekend, allegedly by his policeman brother, police said on Tuesday.
He died in hospital on Monday night, Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said.
Constable Bernard Tema, 33, allegedly opened fire on his brother and sister at their home in Mahwelereng, near Polokwane, on Friday.
The 39-year old woman died on the scene. Her brother, 23, was seriously wounded. The motive for the shooting was not known.
Tema appeared in court on Tuesday where the matter was postponed to April 18.
"The suspect is expected to be served with notice of suspension soon, pending internal disciplinary processes," Ramatseba said.
