Cape Town - A man was arrested with possibly stolen electronic goods at the Cape Town International Airport on Wednesday, Western Cape police said.

Captain Frederick van Wyk said the 40-year-old man had in his luggage 20 cellphones, four video cameras, two iPods, two laptops, two digital cameras and 17 memory sticks, together worth an estimated R204 000.

Two of the cellphones and a laptop had been linked to theft cases opened in Ocean View, he said.

The man was to have flown to Nigeria via Johannesburg.

Taking a bus would have a better option but then again maybe his clients in Abuja were running out of patience so he had to fly hehe

I dont think its fair to label all Nigerians scum or to point fingers at foreigners. Each nation has good and bad people its just that journalists are sensationalist and use the persons nationality as a keypoint. There can be 100 stories of crime on news24 but when its a foreigner it will be a big issue what about the other 99 crimes committed by south africans..
