Man held for drugs in Ekurhuleni

Johannesburg - A 33-year-old man was arrested on Sunday afternoon after being found in possession of drugs in Primrose, Germiston, Ekurhuleni metro police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the flat the man was renting and seized cocaine and heroin with s street value of about R18 000.

He was immediately arrested, Inspector Kobeli Mokheseng said.

He would appear soon in the Germiston Magistrate's Court on charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
