Man held for having cop gun

Johannesburg - A man has been arrested for shooting a 22-year-old man with a police firearm and injuring two others, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.
According to Superintendent Nzukisi Mzukisi the 23-year-old who was out of prison on parole, broke into a policeman's home and stole his service pistol on Friday afternoon before he went to Highbury Locality.
"The man got into an argument with three men, he shot and killed one man a injured two others," said Mzukisi.
He was arrested in Mthatha in the early hours of Saturday morning and was under police guard in hospital.
"The man sustained injuries during the argument, he faces charges of murder, attempted murder and robbery. The policeman's service pistol and nine rounds of ammunition were recovered," said Mzukisi.
He would appear in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Monday.
