Man hit by train

Cape Town - A man was killed when he was hit by a train in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, on Wednesday morning, Metrorail said.

An empty train struck the man around 404:00 near Nolungile station. He was fatally injured, regional manager Lindelo Matya said.

A number of trains were delayed for hours while police conducted investigations and recovered the body, he said.

On Tuesday, a woman and her two children were killed when they stood in front of an oncoming train outside Eerste River in Strand, Western Cape.

Also on Tuesday, a woman was hit and killed by a train in Edendale, Pietermaritzburg. Her two-year-old baby escaped injury.

      This is plain stupidity. There is no conspiracy,idiots do well by burning trains and stealing cables

      Are you serious? Conspiracy to 'damage trains?' It's either suicide or an inability to get out of the way as they try to cross. Imagine that, groups of people standing in front of trains...like terrorist suicide bombers only like a hundred times less successful seeing as they are the only ones who die.
