Man killed as bike crashes into tree

Johannesburg - A man was killed and his son was injured when their motorbike crashed into a tree in Meyerton, south Gauteng, paramedics said on Wednesday.

ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said the man died at the scene on Tuesday night. His son was rushed to a nearby hospital.

It was not clear whether the father or son was driving the motorbike.

    This is sad. There seems to be too many trees next to the road. If it's not a head on it's a tree.

    They were coming from work and there is a corner that looks strait but its not and there are no street lights working so he went strait and over the pavement into the tree the bike exploded and the son is in hospital we not sure how he is doing the doctor did not say jet we can only find out at 3 please you guys keep J.J in your prays and his mom and sister we will all miss our uncle but we can't do anything about it
