Man sentenced 15 years for murder

Johannesburg - A convicted murderer was jailed for 15 years on Friday by the Willowvale Regional Court, Eastern Cape police said.

Police spokesperson Jackson Manatha said 29-year-old Sivuyile Mbudlu murdered Nofourteen Zamila, 44, at her home in Dadamba Village in July 2011.

"Mbudlu arrived at her residence and accused her of being a witch.

"[He] started to assault [her] severely with a stick until she died," said Manatha.

Mbudlu was arrested shortly thereafter.
