Man shoots spying girlfriend

Pretoria - A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and wounding his girlfriend and her brother, Pretoria police said on Friday.
Spokesperson Captain Prince Mokhabela said the incident happened on Thursday night after the man's girlfriend went to "spy" on him.
"When she got to the boyfriend's house she forced the door open and found the man alone in the house," Mokhabela said.
"The boyfriend took out his licensed firearm and shot her in the lower body."
He said the woman then phoned her brother and when he arrived at the house he was also shot in the lower body.
The brother and sister were admitted to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The man was expected to appear in court on Tuesday. He faces two charges of attempted murder.
