Johannesburg - A man was shot and killed in a road rage incident in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, police said.
Captain Ernest Sigobe said the man was shot after an argument with a motorist who was driving behind him along Gail Road in Gelvandale.
That motorist then allegedly drew his firearm and shot the man in the chest.
He died on the scene.
Police were still trying to locate the man's next of kin.
They arrested the motorist who will face a murder charge when he appears in court in the next week, Sigobe said.
The firearm used in the alleged killing was licensed.
In a separate incident, a 46-year-old man was arrested in Veeplaas for the murder of a 73-year-old woman.
The woman was found dead in her shack in the area by neighbours on Saturday.
She had been stabbed a number of times.
The 46-year-old allegedly killed her on Saturday. Police were investigating the motive for the alleged murder.
He will appear in court soon, Sigobe said.
