Mandela: All quiet outside Milpark hospital

2012-02-25 12:23

Johannesburg - There were no reporters or government officials outside Milpark hospital in Johannesburg on Saturday following the news that former president Nelson Mandela had been admitted to a hospital.

The presidency confirmed he had been admitted on Saturday after a "long standing abdominal complaint" but declined to say which hospital he had been taken to.

Last year, Mandela was admitted to Milpark hospital when he suffered from a respiratory infection.

On Saturday, a security guard that had been on duty at Milpark since 06:00 said it was business as usual.

"Nothing is happening here. I don't know where you got this story," he said, not wanting to be named.

it's all about money . Being the first to release the news of mandela's death , will make them lot's of money .

  • malcolm - 2012-02-25 14:14

Not bitter at all, and certainly not an Afrikaaner. Apartheid had no benefit for me. I simply don't rate Mandela. Who here can honestly say they love Mandelas ANC, and what the ANC have achieved for this country. They have raped South Africa and I hold Mandela partly responsible. He trusted these ANC pigs. I never said I wished him Dead. I simply don't care what happens to the terrorist. What part of the definition ,"terrorist" do none of you get.

      Morne - 2012-02-25 14:25

Its not about the party to whom he belongs to, but the type of person he is. It looks like you need some change too!

      Lunga - 2012-02-25 14:31

Malcolm, you are an idiot. I suggest you read Long Walk. That would educate you on what Madiba gave up for this country. He came out of prison without hate in his heart. I feel sorry for you. I suggest you go back to your old school and demand a refund. They clearly didn't do a good job in teaching you anything.
