Manhunt for violent robbers

Johannesburg - Police have launched a manhunt for two men who committed four violent robberies in the Ivory Park area in Johannesburg on Tuesday morning.
Superintendent Tobie Strauss said the two had terrorised the community of Ivory Park .
"This morning they committed four violent robberies between 01:00 to 03:00. A 50-year-old man was wounded in the head and right shoulder. He is in stable condition. The second victim received a flesh wound to the head."
During the third robbery a 34-year-old man was beaten with a firearm and suffered head injuries.
"During the fourth robbery a man was also beaten with a firearm and sustained injuries to the head. After the robbery at this house the robbers took the victim's girlfriend to a nearby field where they raped her," Strauss said.
The robbers took cellphones and cash during the robberies.
Strauss said a reward of up to R25 000 would be considered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these men.
