Johannesburg - The body of a man was found buried in a
shallow grave in Kagiso, near Krugersdorp, Gauteng police said on Thursday.
Police spokesperson Solomon Sibiya said the shallow grave
behind the Kagiso cemetery was found by a passer-by collecting firewood on
Wednesday last week.
"The passer-by noticed flies and some blood stains
on the grass, accompanied by a bad smell, and he became suspicious. He called
the police, who found the body of a man buried in a shallow grave."
He said the man had a scorpion tattooed on the left side
of his chest.
On his left shoulder was a tattoo that reads “Crazy”.
He was estimated to be between 32 and 35-years-old.
"The body was exhumed and later taken to the state
mortuary in Roodepoort.
Anyone able to assist the police in the investigation can
