Man's naked body found

Johannesburg - Mpumalanga police were on Monday trying to identify a man found dead in the bush at Masoyi near Nelspruit, spokesperson Captain Mtsholi Bhembe reported.

Bhembe said the man's naked body was found on Friday morning and he appeared to have died a few hours earlier. His left arm was broken and there were bruises to his stomach.

Bhembe appealed to anyone who could help identify the man, aged between 25 and 30, to contact Masoyi police station on 013-798-3061.

In a separate incident, the body of a 25-year-old woman was found near a shopping complex in Ngodwana near Nelspruit on Saturday.

Bhembe told Sapa the woman appeared to have been hit on the head with a blunt object.

The motive for both murders was unknown and no arrests have been made.
