Metrorail services disrupted
Johannesburg - Train services between Doornfontein and Braamfontein in Johannesburg will experience 10 to 30 minute delays due to a burnt signal cable, Metrorail said on Tuesday.
Manual authorisation was taking place to ensure the safe movement of trains.
Trains to and from Pretoria, Leralla, Daveyton, Vereeniging, Springs and Johannesburg would be affected, said Metrorail spokesperson Tony Games.
Repairs were underway and commuters were requested to make alternative arrangements to minimise any delays, he said.
