Murder, mutilation case - no bail for accused
Johannesburg - Three people accused of murdering and mutilating a pregnant Mosotho woman were denied bail by the Ficksburg District Court on Thursday.
Teboho Daniel Ramakatsa, 31, his wife Mamosebetsi Loraine Modise, 26, and his mother-in-law Mamahlomola Agnes Hlaudi, 68, would remain in custody, said Sergeant Mmako Mophiring.
The trial was postponed until Tuesday for further investigation.
The body of Anastasia Qothela, 30, from Peka in Lesotho, was discovered during the maize harvest in August at Karnemel Farm in the Rosendal district.
The three were arrested last month.
