Murder suspects' home burnt

Pietermaritzburg - Angry residents of the Molomini reserve near Tugela Ferry have burnt down the home of a couple arrested in connection with the death of five young children.
The couple were arrested on Sunday after the bodies of five children were found in an old car at their home.
Superintendent Buhle Ngidi said a 70-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife were being questioned on Monday.
The victims are three-year-old Sisanda Khanyile, his sister Nonzimelelo aged five, and their friends Thabani Sokhela, 5, Simiso Nhlangulela, 3, and Lindeliwe Dladla, 5.
Ngidi said residents searched for the children, who had been playing outside, when they failed to return home on Saturday evening.
The bodies was subsequently found in the old car and the couple arrested.
Ngidi said the children had blisters on their bodies.
A post-mortem would be conducted to determine the cause of their deaths.
