Murdered Bronx owner 'was scared'
Cape Town - Murdered nightclub owner Bruno Bronn had been living in fear before he was murdered in his house last week, a friend says.
Philip King told Eyewitness News that Bronn had been living as a recluse in his home in Green Point up to the time of his death. He had reportedly complained that he was being harassed by someone.
Bronn was found with his hands tied and marks on his neck.
He was the owner of the popular gay nightclub, Bronx.
One of the four men arrested for his murder - John Frederick Coetzee - was apparently a bouncer who had been working at the club.
King said he hoped police would pursue all leads in their investigation into his friend’s murder.
A memorial service was being organised by friends and family.
