N West man accused of friend's murder
Johannesburg - The case against a man accused of stabbing to death his friend has been postponed until February 8 by the Zeerust Magistrate's Court, North West police said on Tuesday
Joseph Tsibogo, who appeared in court on Monday, was expected to bring a formal bail application at his next appearance, said Captain Amanda Funani.
Tsibogo, 24, was arrested on Saturday shortly after he allegedly stabbed Sello Monageng during a game of dice on the street.
"When an argument broke out between the pair over money, Tsibogo pulled out a knife and stabbed the 25-year-old Monageng once in the upper body," Funani said.
He died on arrival at the Zeerust Hospital.
Funani said police linked Tsibogo to the murder after finding a blood-stained knife in his possession.
