2011-09-27 14:05
Johannesburg - Wandile Tutani has been appointed chairperson of the complaints and compliance committee of the Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa).

"Tutani will be officially sworn-in by retired Judge IWB de Villiers on September 28," Icasa spokesperson Paseka Maleka said.

"He brings with him a whole lot of ICT knowledge and experience, both as a qualified attorney and a leader."

Maleka said Tutani had extensive knowledge and understanding of legal and government processes.

"Over and above his legal qualifications, he also possesses a Master of Business Administration degree."

Tutani worked as a business executive at the auditor general until 2010. Before 2005, he was group manager for legal services at Business Connexion.
