North West road flooded

Johannesburg - The road between Lichtenburg and Koster was flooded on Saturday and motorists were advised to use alternative routes, the North West public safety department said.

Departmental spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said heavy rains have damaged the road which is still under construction.

"There is water flowing on the road and it is washing rocks on to the road."

Motorists travelling from Rusternburg to Licthenburg should use the N4.
