North West transport director suspended
Johannesburg - The chief director of transport in the North West has been suspended for alleged irregularities, the department said on Friday.
Titus Kotsoe was put on "precautionary suspension" by department head Thapelo Makhetha on Thursday, according to a statement.
This would allow for the investigation of "alleged irregularities around transportation matters".
Director of planning and policy, Mmaserame Dayel, was appointed acting chief director until further notice.
The move brought to five the number of senior managers suspended within the department since November.
