Nurse killers' case delayed again
Johannesburg - The case against two men who allegedly murdered a nurse in Mpumalanga has been postponed for a second time, the magistrate said on Tuesday.
"An advocate has been briefed to appear for the accused and a date has been arranged for the bail application," Magistrate Danie Mulder told Sapa.
Jackson Patrick Mdluli, 37, and Zondi Motau, 31, were expected to appear in the Lydenburg Magistrate's Court again on October 6 for their bail application. They would remain in custody until then, Mulder said.
The nurse died on September 14 after she was shot and wounded on September 12, allegedly by the sons of a patient she cared for at Lydenburg Hospital.
The patient, who had suffered from multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, died.
