'Nurse killers' case postponed
Johannesburg - The case against two men who allegedly murdered a Mpumalanga nurse has been postponed, police said on Tuesday.
"Their case has been postponed for a bail application. They also need a lawyer to represent them," said Constable Elizabeth Magoa.
The men appeared in the Lydenburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of murder and attempted murder.
They would remain in custody until their next court appearance on September 28.
The nurse died on September 14 after she was shot and wounded on September 12, allegedly by the sons of a patient she cared for at Lydenburg Hospital.
The patient, who had suffered from multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, died.
