Police hunt kidnappers

Johannesburg - A massive police hunt is underway around Ennerdale south of Johannesburg, for 10-year-old Liam Aspeling, kidnapped on Tuesday morning.
Superintendent Maria Mazibuko said his older brother, 21, had seen Liam being snatched from a vehicle that was to take him to the Aloe Ridge Primary School in Walkerville.
A champagne-coloured car, a Honda Civic with registration DWL094GP, pulled up next to Liam's school transport shortly after the grade four pupil boarded the vehicle outside his home in Ennerdale around 06:40.
"We appeal to whoever has this kid to get him back to us," said his uncle Tony Aspeling.
"He's a baby. He hasn't done anyone any harm."
Reluctant to give further details, Mazibuko said Liam was "a normal boy from a normal family. Not rich, not poor".
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call the Ennerdale police station on 011-855-1055/1534, or contact station commander Superintendent Gideon Mundalamo on 082-556-4837.
