2012-09-18 07:21

Johannesburg - Power had been fully restored to Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg, by Monday evening, City Power said on Tuesday morning.

"City Power will continue to monitor the situation and inform customers of any developments," said spokesperson Sol Masolo in a statement.

"Following the power interruption that affected Roodepoort and surrounding areas [Monday] morning, City Power has now fully restored all areas that were affected by a power outage by 21:30 last night."

A fire at a substation caused by cable theft resulted in the power outage on Monday.

An electrocuted body was found at the Roodepoort station.

Not to be negative, but one would think that such a high-risk area would at the very least have some intruder detection equipment.

The risk of crisp is supposed to be the deterrent but the zombies don't understand that.

Didn't another zombie get crisped somewhere else as well ??

There's a big difference between 220 volts and 66,000 volts that these zombies don't seem to appreciate.
