Pregnant woman hurt in crash
Cape Town - A pregnant woman was critically injured when her vehicle
collided with a bakkie in Bellville on Saturday morning, Cape Town paramedics
The 21-year-old woman, who is seven months pregnant, was airlifted to the
Vergelegen Medi-Clinic in Somerset West, said ER24 spokesperson Andre Visser.
"She complained of pain to her back and neck but was most concerned
about her baby as the airbags in her vehicle deployed immediately on
impact," he said.
The bakkie driver was not injured.
