2011-10-28 10:07
Upington - The Northern Cape woman who is accused of poisoning and killing her five children is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation.

Kelebogile Siwa, 35, from Pampierstad, refused to apply for bail, reported the SABC.

Family members have said they will support her as they don’t know what was going through her head at the time of the tragedy.

Meanwhile, the school friends of the five murdered children are struggling to cope with their deaths.

School principal Clement Modiakgotla said children were receiving counselling from social workers to help them come to terms with the incident.

The bodies of the five children, aged 2, 4, 5, 10 and 13, were found in their grandmother’s home last Tuesday.
