Johannesburg - About 3 000 school pupils from five schools in Mankweng on Thursday matched against "abnormal" schooling at Marobathota High School, Limpopo regional Cosas said.
"We are demanding normal education in the school," said spokesperson Joel Mamabolo.
"The current environment at the school is abnormal and not conducive for learning.
"There are few teachers and an acting principal... we want normal schooling to commence so that the school can go back to achieving best results."
The pupils, marched in solidarity with those from Marobathota.
They marched from the Zion Christian Church headquarters in Moria and handed over a memorandum of demands to the Circuit Office.
Apparently church security outnumbers teachers in its premises for some months.
Mamabolo said some teachers were being turned away from the school and that it was running with a few and volunteers.
Warrant Officer Malan Nchabeleng said the march was illegal but the children were disciplined.
Limpopo's department of education could not immediately be reached for comment.
