Rape accused teacher out on bail

2012-05-31 18:49

Johannesburg - The trial of a Limpopo teacher accused of raping another man was postponed in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Thursday, police said.

The 49-year-old teacher, who is also a well-known reverend in the community, was released on R1 000 bail, Constable Moses Molepo said.

He was ordered to appear before the court again on June 29.

The man invited a 21-year-old man to sleep over at his house last Tuesday, then allegedly raped him.

Further investigations were underway, Molepo said.

Why do people rape? I can't imagine why anyone would WANT to do it?

Apparently It's not a sex thing, it's to do with power. Doesn't matter though- it's disgusting and unacceptable what're ever the circumstances. Castration makes no difference, as the perversion is in the head and not the penis. Rapists must never get bail and must be taken out of society forever - permanently = death penalty.

The last person you can trust is a guy who calls himself reverend.

A common behaviour under the Roman catholic, priests and padre's, Fathers, or what ever they call themselves. He is a teacher, teaching the children of today to become leaders tomorrow, and a priest, showing the way to heaven to his community. What a disgrace to "christianity" and civilisation.
