Johannesburg - The case against a 31-year-old man accused of being a serial rapist was postponed by a Benoni magistrate on Wednesday, SABC radio news reported.
The man, who may not yet be named as he has not pleaded, will again appear in the Benoni Magistrate's Court on December 3, when DNA test results are expected to be available.
Superintendent Eugene Opperman said the man was facing three counts of rape, four charges of abduction and two counts of indecent assault.
The man had allegedly raped and sexually assaulted girls between the ages of 11 and 16 at a secluded spot in Bredell, in the Benoni area.
Two victims had positively identified the alleged rapist in an earlier identity parade.
