Johannesburg - A Free State farm worker who accused her employer of raping her would drop the charges if paid R35 000, the SABC reported on Wednesday.

The farmer, Johan de Jager, told the Vrede Magistrate's Court that his 25-year-old accuser was willing to drop the charges if he paid her the money.

The court case would continue on Thursday.
