Rea Vaya buses running again
Johannesburg - Rea Vaya bus drivers were back at work on Tuesday and bus services were running smoothly, an official said.
"Everything is perfect... there is no problem," said Rea Vaya spokesperson Sammy Mafu.
The Labour Court in Johannesburg on Monday granted an interdict to the company operating Rea Vaya to prevent its bus drivers from striking.
The drivers were demanding that their union, the SA Municipal Workers' Union (Samwu), get recognition.
Their strike was stopped just days before the start of the World Cup, whose organisers were relying on the Rea Vaya bus system for transport services during the tournament.
