Robber shot, wounded

Johannesburg - An alleged robber was shot and wounded during a house robbery in Randburg on Friday, Johannesburg paramedics said.
"It appears several suspects broke into a townhouse in Keel street in Sharonlea, Randburg, and fortunately were confronted by the home owner," said Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman.
"The alleged robber was shot by the home owner and he sustained a possible fracture to his right leg femur."
Dollman said the man was stabilised on the scene before being transported, under police guard, to hospital.
Police were not yet aware of the incident.
