Robbers hide in ceiling

Barberton - Three people hiding in the ceiling of the Komatipoort Standard Bank were arrested for attempted robbery on Saturday night.

Captain Wilson Mahlangu said three men, who were allegedly planning to rob the bank hid in the ceiling. They inadvertently triggered the alarm around midnight.

A security company responded and they were later arrested by police. They would appear in the Komatipoort magistrate's court on Monday.
