Robbers take TV, but leave R2

Port Elizabeth - Before leaving with her television set and other electrical appliances, four thieves left R2 on a woman's coffee table.
Wanda van der Mescht from Algoa Park said she was shocked, but also furious.
After the men fled with her television set, a DVD-player and a Sony Playstation, she ran after them, calling them names. The television set was brand new, as she had bought it the day before.
A shocked Van der Mescht said on Sunday the four men had entered the house after she and her family had gone to sleep. According to the police, the four men gained entrance through a lounge window after they kicked out the burglar bars.
One of the suspects was later arrested.
"One of the men threatened to shoot my husband. It could have been much worse," she said. She praised the police for their speedy and professional reaction.
