SA businesswomen off to US

2011-10-20 12:33

Johannesburg - Minister for Women, Children and People with Disabilities, Lulu Xingwana will lead a group of South African businesswomen on a visit to the United States this weekend, her department said.

The visit was aimed at building beneficial partnerships between South African businesswomen and their American counterparts, spokesperson Cornelius Monama said in a statement on Thursday.

"The United States-South Africa Women’s Business Forum, which was launched on Women’s Day this year, is envisaged to serve as a business bridge that will benefit both the US and South African business entrepreneurs."

The forum would take place in Chicago from October 24 to 28. The focus would be on the role of women in international trade, doing business in South Africa, and employment of people with disabilities. October is Disability Awareness month in the United States.

Of all people they send her? See was ripped apart on LNN wednesday night. Disband her ministry and deploy her to the kitchen

She does nothing for children or disabled people. Instead of using the money for children and disabled people they will rather spend the money on expensive trips abroad!

Women with this and that--- but brains not a prerequisite. I can imagine who arrives at the other end

@Thelma: Her predecessor did nothing much either, I was hoping for a change (someone who actually cares), I was wrong again... Happens all the time, these days...
