SA celebrates peace missions

Bloemfontein - The Department of Defence on Friday will celebrate ten years of involvement in peace missions in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Africa.

The celebrations in Bloemfontein would include a military parade at Bloemspruit Airforce Base and a march-past at the city hall.

The SA National Defence Force commander in chief President Jacob Zuma will be the chief functionary at the event.

Various streets in and around Bloemfontein had been closed for the event.

Although it was raining on Friday morning, organisers said the event would go ahead.

They think that by acting the big bully and dictator by legislating : Don’t pay e-tolls and 1) Go to jail 2) Have car confiscated 3) Lose drivers License 4) Get Black listed 5) Get stopped and roughed up by SANRAL Road Thugs 6) Cant renew Car License etc etc will cower and frighten the Gauteng motorist to death, and they will give SANRAL, like the highway robbers of old, anything they choose to demand. R1000 p/m R1500 p/m R2000 p/m. Please SANRAL, just take all my money and just promise not to hurt me. Here, my open wallet is all yours. At this point in time as the size of the corruption, incompetence, reckless spending and arrogance of SANRAL/Government is exposed more and more each day, do they really think that the SA motorist will ever part with a single cent towards e-tolling, no matter what threats the Government/SANRAL choose to come up with. Instead of looking at the very cheap and effective method of slightly increasing the fuel levy, they have invested so much in this humungous abortion, that it is impossible for them to now euthanize the sick beast.
