Johannesburg - A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the head by a man at Chingwell Primary School outside Petensie, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.
The boy was eating during lunch break when a 22-year-old man entered the premises, approached the boy and beat him up, said Inspector Gerda Swart.
"He then took a knife and stabbed him once in the head and ran away."
The teenager was rushed to the Humansdorp hospital where he received treatment and was discharged.
Police were searching for the attacker, said Swart.
