Selebi assets to be seized

Johannesburg - Former national police commissioner Jackie Selebi's sentencing in the South Gauteng High Court on Wednesday began with an application to seize assets to the value he was found to have received from Glenn Agliotti

The court adjourned for 15 minutes to allow a few minutes for a brief consultation between the parties on the exact amount involved.

Selebi was found guilty on July 2 of receiving more than R200 000 from convicted drug trafficker Agliotti.
