'Shark bites' on teen's body

Johannesburg - A 17-year-old schoolboy's body washed up on a beach in Port
Alfred on Thursday, a day after he went missing while swimming in
the sea with classmates.
"It is unclear if Lorenzo Kroutz's death is a result of what may
appear to be shark bite marks or if the bites on the body occurred
subsequently to a drowning accident," said National Sea Rescue
Institute spokesperson Craig Lambinon.
"There was no indication during the search that suggested the
disappearance of the child was the result of a shark attack," he
said.
There had been no other shark attacks reported in the area
either.
Kroutz was among a group of pupils from Colesburg High School
who had been attending a science festival in Grahamstown.
