seems like fire started at Dischem. cause the following places burned down: Dischem, Wimpy, Nedbank, The Hub and smaller shops. As far as i know the Pick a Pay was also on fire at 8h00.

When I drove past at about 7 this morning, Ontdekkers was caos. Funny enough, only because everyone wanted to stop, stare and take pictures. I'm just glad that it was only a few stores affected and not the entire place. Sadly though, the 1 store affected is the "Linen n Things", who sells some really nice stuff. Not sure how bad these people are affected but I know a knock like this can be bad

Something that just sparked in my mind. A store like dischem should have a sprinkler system in place. Did it activate? if not, why not.
