Pietermaritzburg - Six men have been killed in shoot-outs with the police in Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal, police said on Monday.

Colonel Vishnu Naidoo said five men were shot dead on a farm in Richmond on Sunday night, a sixth man died in a shoot-out on Monday, while a wounded man was arrested.

The SABC reported on Monday that the men, who appeared to be in their 20s, were heavily armed and refused to surrender when asked to by the police.

The shoot-outs ensued after police received a tip-off from a private security company that a group was planning a robbery in the area.

Robert Agbor says... South African government feels very inferior to the UK government. For what ever the reasons if the UK demand visas for SA passports holders, why waste time to debate just reciprocate. It is common knowledge that if a country imposed visa requirement to another, the same should be apply to them. ANC government must stop acting like beggars to superior egos like the UK government. They come here because this country is very attractive to them on various factors. The only thing that can attract me to UK is the power of their currency. So, if by the end of this year ANC government does not impose visa conditions to UK passport holders, I won't vote for ANC in the coming elections. DA don't fool yourself I will never give you my vote I will put my vote on hold until ANC retaliate this visa requirement issue with UK. For instance in the 80s, British government ban Nigeria Airways from entering UK and immediately, the Nigerian government also ban British Airways from entering Nigeria. The British government had to go and beg Nigerian government for the the ban to be lifted and they the British also lifted the ban on Nigeria Airways. The British realized that they do more business in Nigeria than the opposite. They need us just like we need them. If they disrespect us, we must disrespect them in the same measures.
