Soccer players hit by lightning

Lichtenburg - The community of Driehoek outside Lichtenburg in North West Province are reeling in shock, following the deaths of two people who were struck by lightning, SABC news reported on Monday.
Six other people sustained serious injuries.
Police spokesperson Keaobaka Moses said the victims were members of a local soccer team who had just played a match at a neighbouring village.
The two died instantly. The rest were rushed to the Gelukspan hospital.
Four of them were later discharged and two others were still in a serious condition, SABC reported.
