Johannesburg - A man was arrested in Meadowslands, Soweto, on Wednesday for allegedly murdering his friend, Gauteng police said.

The 21-year-old man is accused of stabbing a 24-year-old man to death at about 04:00 on Wednesday, Captain Pinky Tsinyane said.

Tsinyane said the man was expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court soon.
