Pretoria - The State said on Friday it will argue a case of pre-meditated murder against Oscar Pistorius for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
"Is the State's argument pre-meditated murder?" asked Magistrate Desmond Nair asked.
"Yes," said prosecutor advocate Gerrie Nel.
When the paralympian star heard this, reporters said he again broke down in tears.
Top prosecutor Gerrie Nel is leading the National Prosecuting Authority’s case.
Pistorius was arrested on Thursday after allegedly shot Steenkamp four times at his luxury Silver Woods Country Estate home.
Pretoria Magistrate Desmond Nair also ruled that live coverage of Pistorius’s bail hearing was not allowed.
