Polokwane - A man aged 55, and a woman, 38, were killed after their car collided head on with a truck on the R81 between Polokwane and Dikgale on Friday morning, Limpopo police said.

Constable Moses Molepo said their car, a sedan, tried to avoid a stationary truck when it collided with another coming their way.

The car went underneath the truck and they died instantly.

Molepo said police were looking for the driver of the stationary truck, who would face a charge of obstructing traffic.

Stationary trucks should be off the high ways as there are no pna's or cna's alone these roads.

I don't think people have to blame the truck driver because obviously that truck was broken.Only if the there was warning triangle behind it. But some other drivers stealing those triangles when pass stationary trucks. Those are the causes of accidents.

Some accidents caused by other drivers who steals the warning signs. And putting others in trouble. Just imagine when you remove that warning sign what you think about the one who can't notice the danger he/she facing?
