Johannesburg - A man has been arrested for allegedly raping his stepdaughter in Eersterust, Pretoria, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
"The rape happened on Saturday night.. and the man, in his early fifties, was arrested this morning," police spokesperson Constable Sam Shibambo said.
The girl, in her early twenties, was allegedly raped by her stepfather in the house they shared with the girl's mother in Eersterust.
"There were witnesses to the rape... Investigations are ongoing."
The man was expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrate's Court soon on a charge of rape.
