2012-06-22 13:11

Mankweng - A teacher has handed himself over to authorities after gunning down his wife at the Sebayeng Clinic in Mankweng, Limpopo police said on Friday.

The 47-year-old man had been arguing with his wife, a nurse, at her workplace on Thursday when he shot her twice in the head, said Constable Moses Molepo.

It was unknown what the fight was about.

An hour later, he handed himself and his firearm in to the police.

The man is due to appear in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Monday.

      npretorius2 - 2012-06-22 13:34

I hate to correct you, but rape and murder is more rampant in SA than any other place in the world. We need the death penalty for rape and murder

  • npretorius2 - 2012-06-22 13:32

What the hell is going on in Limpopo Province? Damn! Is there something in the drinking water that makes people want to rape and murder?

      koos.vandermerwe.338 - 2012-06-22 14:31

A degree means zip as I know how the marks are adjusted to allow the uni to get the grant from the government. Being a attorney might mean something to you, to me your profession are parasites, simular to accountants. Your profession don't create anything worth living for in the real world. So, sorry to blow your bubble.

      shalomkatekani - 2012-06-22 14:41

very ammusing you are ive been to 3 different universities and i suppose you are the person tasked with inflating marks in all of them. Very very pathetic you are, but i dont blame you.

      puse.mabuza - 2012-06-23 05:41

Koos dont make me laugh. I am an accountant and feel offended so thats why we are needed by every company to add no value. As far as i know thez no company without an accountant. Your statement does not add value.

      Alice - 2012-06-23 09:30

Geez Koos, I'm speechless by the type of comments you are displaying here. I know for a fact most White Saffas undermine black qualifications claiming that we're incompetent. Anyway I don't know what excuse they will say about my qualifications cz I attended top private schools in Cape Town , got good results, went to best Varsity in that province and also had an opportunity to study in one one of best Uni in Europe. Now what excuse are they going to say to undermine me??? \r\n\r\nAnyway Shalom we all know that Limpompo is the worst Province in SA where violent crimes are committed , high rape cases, witchcraft, ppl killing babies and so on..

I'd rather as the question on how do we stop this, as these things happen everyday, we just hear about a few of them. I think we need to break the violence in South Africa, but specifically in rural areas, as the police doesn't mind at all what happens there.

      Ayanda Mathunjwa - 2012-06-22 22:57

  • Ayanda Mathunjwa - 2012-06-22 18:48

What I wrong with South Africans, they never seem to stop butchering each other, people need to do some soul searching, we need capital punishment, those who kill should be killed, I know it's a very backward thing to say, people are not even safe in their own houses, you have a huge wall as your fence, huge metal bars on doors and windows, deadly dogs and guns, WHY???????? somebody please explain why?

  • lucky.mathibela - 2012-06-23 09:18
