Teen stoned to death

Kimberley - A 17-year-old girl was stoned to death and left behind a public swimming pool in Sunrise, De Aar, at the weekend, Kimberley police said on Sunday.

Inspector Chantel Manuel said a railway worker, walking home, found the girl's body about 04:00 on Saturday.

She said the girl had not been identified by Sunday afternoon.

There had been no arrests.
