Terre'Blanche supporters gather for trial

Ventersdorp - Supporters gathered outside the
High Court sitting in Ventersdorp on Tuesday where the trial of two people
accused of killing right wing leader Eugene Terre'Blanche would resume.
Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB) members
wore camouflage uniforms and draped their cars with flags and posters.
One poster read: "We want justice",
against a picture of Terre'Blanche's face.
A small group of local residents were also
gathered outside the court.
Chris Mahlangu and a teenager are charged
with beating Terre'Blanche to death in his farmhouse outside Ventersdorp in the
North West in April 2010.
Both have pleaded not guilty to murder,
housebreaking, and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
Mahlangu claims he acted in self defence. The
teenager has denied involvement in the crime.
In a previous appearance in January, police
Captain Mojalefa Nkosi testified that Mahlangu had implicated himself in the
murder.
Mahlangu was quoted as saying he hit
Terre'Blanche several times with a pole before the teenager picked it up and
hit him further until he died.
This was contained in a statement read out in
court, which Nkosi took during and after the pointing out of the crime scene.
However, Judge John Horn pointed out that the
statement of one accused could not be used to incriminate another.
